Classical swine fever is clinically indistinguishable from African swine fever, and the two are endemic together across Southeast Asia. Running the CSFV and ASFV chips side by side on the same blood sample gives a differential diagnosis at the farm within the hour and supports movement decisions and vaccination monitoring. Runs on the CarryOn portable analyzer with a sealed, single-use microfluidic chip; nucleic acid extraction and real-time fluorescence PCR are fully automatic, and chips store at room temperature.
