Glaesserella (Haemophilus) parasuis Test Chip
On-site G. parasuis PCR for swine farms — results in under 60 minutes.
Glässer's disease (polyserositis, arthritis, meningitis) kills nursery pigs fast and is hard to distinguish from Streptococcus suis or Mycoplasma hyorhinis on necropsy alone. Same-day PCR on joint fluid or serosal swabs confirms the agent so antibiotic choice and vaccination can be targeted. Runs on the CarryOn portable analyzer with a sealed, single-use microfluidic chip; nucleic acid extraction and real-time fluorescence PCR are fully automatic, and chips store at room temperature.
