PCV2 drives post-weaning multisystemic wasting syndrome (PMWS) and porcine circovirus-associated disease (PCVAD), usually together with PRRSV or Mycoplasma. Quantitative on-site detection helps time vaccination and judge whether PCV2 is the primary driver of wasting in a nursery.
