Porcine Pseudorabies Virus (PRV) Test Chip
On-site PRV PCR for swine farms — results in under 60 minutes.
Pseudorabies (Aujeszky's disease) causes neurological signs and death in piglets, respiratory disease in growers, and abortion in sows. On-site PCR lets farms separate PRV from PRRS and other respiratory pathogens within an hour and confirm gE-negative herd status before movement. Runs on the CarryOn portable analyzer with a sealed, single-use microfluidic chip; nucleic acid extraction and real-time fluorescence PCR are fully automatic, and chips store at room temperature.
